Roadster! is a not-for-profit child-led car magazine project for kids.
We LOVE our magazine but it is a lot of effort to produce, and we are limited in what we can do on our own. We have reached a point where our subscriptions are covering the cost of issue print production, but we are keen to keep expanding the project beyond its parent/child grassroots.

We need to produce more magazines, attend more events, carry out more travel, do more marketing and buy more extras.

For 2025, we were extremely grateful to have the kind support of The British Motor Show in the production of free Roadster! Show Guides for kids, and the sponsorship of Banbury firm, Jaybee Motors to help us with our costs associated with this event.

We are now at the point where we need to grow Roadster! nationwide in order to turn it into the worthwhile social enterprise we believe in.

We need YOUR help!

READERS & FOLLOWERS:
An amazing community who keep us going! Some of you have already done this, but we NEED you to advocate for us and keep building our reach! Please share our posts and talk about us in your socials. It really helps drive traffic to our sites and build awareness.

SUBSCRIPTIONS:
Did you know? A subscription to Roadster! starts at just £3 a month, and it really helps us to keep socialising the project. We NEED more subscribers! http://patreon.com/user?u=112265039

BUYING A COPY:
Buying a Roadster! really helps us! https://roadster-magazine.sumupstore.com/

ADVERTISING:
Our inside covers are now dedicated to advertising. We now offer revenue generating advertising space for a very modest price (our only incentive is to support the magazine). We know a low circulation independent may not be all that attractive - but consider your CSR! Contact us for more information.

SPONSORSHIPS:
Our Summer 2025 issue was very kindly sponsored by Jaybee Motors.
Our event gazebo was generously supplied by Modex Exhibitions.
Our 2025 British Motor Show Strategy was kindly supported by Gamify.Cards

We need more help like this.
We are open to all sorts of sponsorship arrangements, including feature and magazine sponsoring.
We will include a sponsorship banner in the Editorial page (1st page inside) in any printed copies.

PARTNERSHIPS:
Event organisers have been letting us pitch up for free in exchange for a nominal partnership arrangement (normally we produce some kind of Children's activity sheet).
In 2025 we partnered with the British Motor Show to produce a 36-page Roadster! Show Guide, funded and distributed by the Show organisers and principal sponsors, Cazoo.
We've had feedback that our stall is a stand out and our offer for children is popular. We are open to ideas.

DONATIONS:
Roadster! is a not-for-profit social enterprise. Aside from the experiences the kids have making Roadster! they see no return for their efforts, and the adults take nothing from the project - Your donation will make a huge difference!

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS:
We don't believe we are unique. There MUST be other kids doing something similar, or small start up motoring magazines with a different USP but similar challenges? We want to forming a coalition with these fellow self-publishers, sharing advice, pooling resources, giving each other promotion, collaborating on a microsite, making advertising more attractive... Together we could make something amazing!
PAY IT FORWARD:
Our technology is creaking at the seams. Our old computer is broken, storage plans are running out of space, and we could do more if we had better tech. Where older, but serviceable equipment is discarded by bigger titles you could pay-it-forward in the knowledge that it is being used to inspire youngsters.

Our printers have quoted the following APPROXIMATE figures:
15x magazines - £41.50
50x magazines - £107.50
150x magazines - £320.00
200x magazines - £426.50
300x magazines - £620.50

Please email us for further information.

(All funding received will be recorded in an annual report for report for full transparency and disclosure)

Thank You.

A MESSAGE TO THE MOTOR INDUSTRY: An Invitation to Fuel the Future
For the last three years, Roadster Magazine has been a parent child passion project— a unique, child-led connected learning platform proving that we can successfully connect the motor industry to the next generation through engaging child-focused educational content. We've produced regular issues, seen organic growth, and secured brilliant industry acclaim.
But to meet national demand and truly scale our educational impact, we've hit the wall of the volunteer-led model. We can't reach the children who need us most without a full-time, professional structure.
That's why we're moving to Phase 2: Professionalisation and Scale.
Our plan is clear: Transition to a self-sustaining Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), funded by a dedicated Industry Consortium. This will allow us to establish experienced leadership, and—crucially—implement a permanent "Free-to-Schools" distribution model across the UK.
Does Roadster! have a future as a national force for good?
ARE YOU IN THE INDUSTRY? We need YOUR perspective to help us answer that question.
Please take 3 minutes to complete our short, non-binding Signal of Interest Survey. Your input confirms our strategic plan and helps us secure the foundational funding needed to scale up.
