Are We There Yet? The M62

The 107 mile M62 motorway runs right across the North of England between Liverpool in the North West and Hull in the North East. The motorway reaches 372 metres above sea level, making it the highest motorway in England. The M62 was  opened in stages between 1971 and 1976. Manchester, Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield are major cities along its route.
