...for Schools

We've learned a lot during the four years we have been making Roadster! Magazine, and now we are aiming to bring that educational  opportunity to school classrooms.

Roadster! for Schools is our new participation-led learning initiative for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 pupils, developed from the principles and experiences behind Roadster! Magazine.

Roadster! is child-led. It is all about children gaining real world experiences, and sharing their stories through the pages of Roadster! Magazine.

Through visits, interviews, publishing projects, museum partnerships, motorsport experiences, engineering activities and industry engagement, we have seen how children develop confidence, curiosity and ownership when learning becomes real, relevant and connected to their interests.

Roadster! in Schools seeks to build on those observations. We want to work alongside schools, families, museums, manufacturers, motorsport organisations and the wider automotive sector to create opportunities for children to:

  • Explore STEM through real-world applications

  • Develop literacy, communication and creative skills through publishing and storytelling

  • Connect classroom learning with industry, technology and innovation

  • Participate in hands-on projects and challenges

  • Meet professionals and discover the people behind products, services and careers

  • Visit workplaces, museums and events

  • Build confidence through contribution, teamwork and presentation

  • Develop a stronger understanding of the world around them

Our Roadster! for Schools initiative aims to bring

  • Classroom resources and activity sheets

  • Reading materials and magazines

  • School enrichment projects

  • Industry-supported challenges

  • Educational visits and experiences

  • Vehicle displays and demonstrations in schools

  • Child-led reporting and publishing opportunities

  • Partnerships with museums, clubs, events and employers

All shared through the pages of Roadster! Magazine.

At its heart, Roadster! in Schools is based on a belief that children are more likely to engage with future opportunities when they first develop curiosity, confidence and a sense of connection to the wider world.

By creating safe, low-pressure opportunities for participation during Key Stages 2 and 3, we hope to help more young people discover their interests, develop transferable skills and build the confidence to imagine where those interests might one day take them.

Because before young people can think about careers, they first need opportunities to explore, participate and belong.
