because I didn’t have a Ferrari model. The LEGO set

includes a driver minifigure in a Ferrari racing suit.

I found the build quite hard, mainly because the stickers were hard to do. It took me about an hour to finish. The stickers say Ferrari on them and look really good on the car.

I went onto the Ferrari website to find out more about the real car. The Competizione is the race track version of the 812 Superfast, which is a front-engined berlinetta (berlinetta is Italian for “little saloon”). It has a REALLY powerful engine (V12!!!), advanced aerodynamics and includes four-wheel steering. It is sold out so I will have to stick with my LEGO model!

The Ferrari website has a fun configurator (in Italian!) so I played with it to try and match the LEGO model. It’s really good and looks a lot like the real car! The LEGO pieces are a Rossa Red colour with a yellow stripe just like the real car. The exhaust and lights match and there is a black blade on the bonnet. Even the wheels match!

I really like this set. It is a good set to have.
