I included this set in my festive gift list in the last issue… 

then I got it for Christmas myself!

This LEGO set is a LEGO creator set but it is similar to the

Speed Champions sets but with less pieces. 

The Creator Classic Defender set is available exclusively from 

LEGO stores and celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Land Rover Classic Defender. 

It features features many details from the real life version, including the roof rack, headlights, Land Rover badge and side-view mirrors. 

I REALLY like this LEGO set. Being smaller it was quick to build and is perfect for taking with me on my own off-road adventures! 

It was not a super hard build, even though it has lots of cool details, just like a real Land Rover.  My favorite parts are the boxy roof rack and the chunky off-road tires.  There's even a driver minifig to put behind the wheel (though I have replaced it with a minifig of me!).

This Land Rover sits on my shelf alongside all of my LEGO 

Speed Champions sets. I am building quite a fleet of 

LEGO cars now!
