Lightning McQueen Set for Goodwood Festival of Speed! Ka‑chow!

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is always absolutely EPIC. With F1 cars screaming up the Hill, the Supercar Paddock buzzing with energy, hydrogen hypercars and wild prototypes - we adore the Festival of Speed!

And now Goodwood has just dropped a bombshell for 2026:

Lightning McQueen - the seven‑time Piston Cup Champion himself - is going to be at the festival next month!

Yes, THAT Lightning McQueen. The rookie who trained under Doc Hudson. The racer who battled Francesco Bernoulli in the World Grand Prix. The legend who passed the torch to Cruz Ramirez at the Florida 500. The No. 95 who made “Ka‑chow!” a global catchphrase! (and star of the Cars movies!)

Goodwood says they’ve been trying to make this happen for years, and 2026 is finally THE year. Lightning will be at the Festival from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 July, meeting fans and soaking up the atmosphere of the world’s most exciting motorsport celebration!

Goodwood is where the past, present and future of speed collide — adding Lightning McQueen to the mix feels like the perfect next chapter!

As Lightning said himself:

“I couldn’t be more fired up… See you at Goodwood! Ka‑chow!”

We’re already counting down the days!

The Festival of Speed runs Thursday 9 – Sunday 12 July, with Thursday and limited Sunday tickets still available at Goodwood.com.
