When Roadster! visited the Autosport A24 show back in January, I was hooked on the radio control drift car racing. It was exciting and I wanted a go!

Drift car racing is where the cars move “slideways”! Instead of going straight around a corner, the drivers perform a cool controlled skid. The drivers steer the car in one direction, but turn the wheels the other way. This makes the car's slide!

The FTX Bansai makes it easy for kids to have a go too! It is 10 times smaller than a real car, and is an entry level drift car. I was able to use it straight out of the box! The radio control is super easy to use and the car is really quick! I’m not sure how to do the drifting, so I am just having fun! I like the way it does donuts!

It is quite complicated underneath the bodyshell. - it’s like a real car! The box says age 14 upwards and I can understand why, but its fun to play with!

Things I don’t like - the battery doesn’t last very long - only about 15 minutes, but it comes with a USB charger! I also don’t like the way the battery keeps falling out when playing with it outside. It’s good fun though!
