Roadster! Sam explores the famous “Turbo” in the legendary Porsche 911.
Imagine you have a balloon. When you blow into it, it gets bigger and bigger, then, when you let the balloon go... WHOOSH! That’s how a turbocharger works! A turbocharger is like a supercharger for a car's engine. It sucks in more air, which helps the engine burn more fuel. This makes the car go faster!
Porsche introduced the iconic 911 Turbo in 1974, revolutionizing sports cars with its turbocharged engine and impressive performance. Since then, Turbo has become a name that is linked with Porsche's highest-performance models.
Last year, Porsche celebrated the 50th anniversary of the 911 Turbo with a special edition model. This limited edition car was inspired by the original 930 Turbo from 1974. It combines classic looks with modern technology, including a powerful 3.7-litre twin-turbo engine!
