Polestar 3: An Unreal Encounter!

Polestar 3 is an upcoming new car which brings the Polestar principles of design, innovation and sustainability to a sports utility vehicle (SUV). Sam from Roadster! got the exciting opportunity to get an up close look at the new car. There was just one problem… it wasn’t there!

But that didn’t stop Sam! He was able to take a virtual tour of the new car using sophisticated “augmented reality” technology!

An iPad projected Polestar 3 over the top of Polestar 2 Sam explored for his Backseat Driver review, allowing him to experience all of the details of Polestar 3 up close! He was able to walk around the car to get an idea of its size, and weigh up design details such as the front and rear aero wings which improve air flow and increase downforce and stability.

Sam was even able to climb aboard the virtual car and check out it’s impressive features! He was also able to use a configurator to change the car’s colours and wheel rims. It was very cool!

Polestar 3 deliveries are expected to start towards the end of the year.
