The model marks the first time ever that a LEGO scale build has been able to drive around corners, the first time EVER that a LEGO scale build has been capable of  completing a lap of a racetrack, and the first time EVER that a Formula One racing driver has driven a LEGO build!

The model celebrates the 1:8 LEGO® Technic™ McLaren P1™ set (42172), a complex LEGO Technic set with a 7-speed gearbox, dual clutch transmission, suspension, a V8 piston engine, adjustable rear wing and fully opening dihedral doors… it’s not a set for the faint-hearted!
